The Sawyer Free Library is accepting applications for a full-time

Digital Access Librarian/Library IT Business Analyst . This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about designing, planning, and implementing spaces, technological infrastructure, and digital experiences that support public digital content consumption, creation, and learning. Primary duties of the Digital Access Librarian and Library IT Business Analyst include, but are not limited to:

Performing technical administration of library IT systems

Managing technology inventory, including evaluating new hardware and applications to meet Library goals and user needs

Installing, configuring and maintaining software on a variety of consumer devices and platforms

Developing, planning, implementing and promoting instructional programs that support digital content consumption, creation and learning

Cultivating partnerships with community agencies

Ability and enthusiasm for adapting to new technologies and services a must. Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, productivity and digital content creation software, Integrated Library System applications, web-based programs, and A/V systems is essential.
